At Raja Rani Aesthetics™, customer satisfaction is important to us. We are committed to complying with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa) while maintaining strict hygiene and quality standards for our beauty and personal care products.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Returns

If you wish to return an item, you must contact Raja Rani Aesthetics™ before sending any product back.

Eligible returns must:

  • Be requested within 7 days of receiving your order where applicable.
  • Be unused, unopened, and in its original condition.
  • Include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and inserts.
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.


2. Non-Returnable Items

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged once opened, used, or tampered with, unless they are defective under the Consumer Protection Act:

  • Hair styling tools that show signs of use
  • Hair accessories
  • Root touch-up products
  • Hair powders
  • Grooming products
  • Cosmetic products
  • Personal care products
  • Beauty accessories
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Gift cards (if applicable)

Any item returned that is damaged through misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear will not qualify for a refund or replacement.


3. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged during delivery,
  • Defective upon arrival,
  • Incorrectly supplied,

you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Your claim should include:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the item
  • Photographs of the packaging
  • A description of the issue

Failure to report transit damage within this period may affect your claim where permitted by law.

We reserve the right to inspect returned products before approving any refund, replacement, repair, or store credit.


4. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during purchase.

Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your financial institution or payment provider.

Shipping charges, courier fees, and handling costs are non-refundable, except where the return is due to:

  • A defective product,
  • An incorrect product supplied by us, or
  • Any circumstance where South African consumer law requires reimbursement.

5. Exchanges

Exchanges are offered only for:

  • Defective products,
  • Damaged products,
  • Incorrectly supplied products.

Exchanges remain subject to stock availability.

Where a replacement is unavailable, Raja Rani Aesthetics™ may, at its discretion and where appropriate under applicable law, offer a refund or store credit.


6. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the return is due to our error or a defective product, customers are responsible for all return courier costs.

We strongly recommend using a tracked courier service, as Raja Rani Aesthetics™ cannot be held responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit back to us.


7. Refusal of Returns

Raja Rani Aesthetics™ reserves the right to refuse any return where:

  • The product has been opened or used.
  • The product has been altered or damaged by the customer.
  • The return request falls outside the applicable return period.
  • The item is returned without original packaging or proof of purchase.
  • The item does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights provided under South African law.


8. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed or dispatched.

Once an order has been shipped, it will be subject to this Return & Refund Policy.

Where a refund is approved for a cancelled order before dispatch, payment processing fees or transaction costs charged by third-party payment providers may be deducted where legally permissible.


9. Consumer Protection Act

Nothing contained in this policy limits, excludes, or replaces any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa) or any other applicable legislation.

Where any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer rights, the applicable law shall prevail.
